Rock Lily Place Heart Notes February 2026
February, the month of chocolates, flowers, and romance. And of course, love. All things heart. Valentine’s day was never a holiday that I went out of my way to celebrate. At least not since elementary school when we exchanged cards. Remember that? I can appreciate the intention though. It’s also another holiday to eat lots of sweets. There’s that. In February’s Heart Note I wanted to talk a little about the heart. Not so much in its physical form but the intuitive, energetic form. I believe in the strength, knowing and the divine love that dwells in our hearts.
Lead with your heart.
Follow your heart.
The heart knows.
The heart is considered the bridge between the mind and spirit as well as the seven chakras: between the upper chakras and bottom chakras.
Heart energy is said to reach three feet outward from the physical body.
Heart coherence is a state of harmony or alignment between the heart, mind and emotions. This builds heart resilience according to the Heartmath Institute.
The heart is a muscle and has its own nervous system and can process information on its own, nicknamed “heart-brain”.
I could state more facts about the heart. But I know what I know about my heart. It’s primary in my being. I’ve had to go through many transmutations and transformations of my heart to understand its purpose, function, know it as my ally. My heart has taught me self-love, self-forgiveness, discernment, the healing power of grief and joy.
Your heart is simply the power of your being. When we align with our Truth, we are heart coherent. Your heart will show you the way. Always.
In these times, follow your heart, care for your heart. Listen to your heart. The simple act of placing your hand over your heart, becoming still, gentle breath and listening, is all you need to do to reap the benefits of alignment with your heart, mind and soul.
“Today, see if you can stretch your heart and expand your love so that it touches not only those to whom you can give its easily, but also to those who need it so much.” – Aristotle
